Sandy Coke, Race Chairperson made great plans for the 2013 “GATOR CHASE RACE”  for Saturday, February 23rd and along with many others was greatly disappointed that the race had to be cancelled due to such terrible weather.  Meaher’s State Park and the Causeway had considerable standing water and was not safe for a race.  Sandy plans to top any past Gator Chase Race with her committee’s increased involvement from the racing groups and Spanish Fort students, parent and families participation.

Be on the look out for what this race committee has in the plans.

Daphne Utilities has again volunteered to provide everyone  in attendance with  hot dogs, chips & water. SFHS & SFMS Cross Country Team along with their parents will be again helping to make 2014 a successful event!!

Pizza parties will again go to the classroom from each school with the most preregistered racers and a donation will go to the school with the most racers registered with their school’s name.
