The Spanish Fort Education Enrichment Foundation (SFEEF) created two academic scholarships for seniors graduating from Spanish Fort High School (SFHS). This award honors the memory of Mr. Art Clemons and Mr. Bill Imle, two members of the community well known for their community service and kind spirit. SFEEF is pleased to announce that the Clemons-Imle Scholarship has been increased to $1,000 for the Senior boy and girl! Bill Imle was an outstanding citizen in both the community and the country. Mr. Imle had 23 years of military service. He was a Captain in the Marine Corps and retired as a Commander in the United States Coast Guard. He dedicated over 23 years of his life to our country. After his retirement in 2005, Mr. Imle and his family moved to Daphne, Alabama where he worked for Lockheed Martin as a Technical Trainer in Mission Planning. Art Clemons

Art Clemons graduated from the Georgia Institute of Technology with a Bachelors of Mechanical Engineering and Master of Science in Mechanical Engineering. He worked as Mechanical Engineer for Kimberly-Clark Corporation for 20 years. The Spanish Fort community was blessed to welcome Art and his family to the area 11 years ago.
